Notes; First off I must say how happy I am with my shoulder presses, pain in my left shoulder has keep me from going heavy for quite some time now and even after the pain went away I was afraid of reinjuring it. Today I was successful in adding 30 pounds to the weight I had been using with no pain!! The wife and I went out to eat with some friends and family, I had a great Salmon and Pasta dish, the calories were a bit high but I will use that to fuel my leg workout tomorrow morning! Life Is Good!

I used up the last of my Keto Genics ISO Whey peanut Butter Cookie. So I got this out of the stash. I bought this at least in March so it's time to test it out!

It's got a great flavor, mixed really good in a shaker cup with some cold water ! And if I remember correctly I got a great deal on it.

I bet Vanilla/Peanut Butter is a good flavor. Glad that shoulder’s staying strong and pain free. It’s always a good feeling when you’ve been dealing with injury and pain those first few workouts that are pain free. There’s a sense of freedom when the pain’s not holding you back.👍

Yeah, I definitely understand that and been through it. I always just try to ease back into normal lifting and slow gradual increases when I’m recovering from an injury, but it’s never easy because that’s always in the back of your mind.

Yeah, I definitely understand that and been through it. I always just try to ease back into normal lifting and slow gradual increases when I’m recovering from an injury, but it’s never easy because that’s always in the back of your mind.
It takes me awhile to gain full confidence back after an injury or pain in one of my muscles. But I'd rather be safe than sorry and go light for awhile before getting back to where I was before the injury.

Doesn't get much better than that! Homeade pizzas are the best cause you can load up the protein on it where at restaurants they usually hold back cause the protein is the most expensive.

Notes; Great workout this morning, the pump in my tri's was almost painful and I could still feel the pump in my chest 8 hours later. I did feel a bit of a tweak in my shoulder while benching, so I just slowed it down and took it easy. As for the nutrition, I got to work this morning and there was a large plate of cookies next to the coffee pot, I only had 2 (they were really big) than right before lunch a customer brought in 4 Papa Johns Pizza's as a thank you. (I couldn't be rude)..

Notes; Nutrition pretty good after two days of way to many calories. My workout today was great after two days of eating good, I had lots of energy and drive, my muscles felt and looked full. I did the stiff arm pull downs again and felt them in my lats but also my tri's, so I guess I got some bonus tricep work in !! Life is Good !

I wish I would have kept labels of all my past supplements and put them on the walls of my home gym! That would have been cool to see now!

Enjoy the break! It will be good for your connective tissue. Just get a little walking in (which almost always happens on trips) and you’ll come back feeling better & ready to go!
I am working a convention, 3 years ago I averaged 30,000 steps a day, I will get a little walking in !!

Well hopefully you enjoy yourself while there. I do agree the forced rest will help you out. Keep calories and protein up and you might even see some extra growth. You grow while you are resting, so don't cheat yourself and lower the calories. You can gain some decent mass if you play your cards right. However at 30000 steps a day that is like doing a good amount of cardio.
