Prostate Help: Best Supplement To Lower Estrogen WITHOUT Lowering DHT

Hi Guys,
Hoping you can help out.

I've read dozens of threads on AM about lowering estrogen for prostate health with Saw Palmetto. The problem with Saw Palmetto, is that it also lowers DHT levels which isn't something I want. Actually, I want to increase to increase DHT levels while lowering estrogen levels so that libido and sex drive increase while keeping the prostate under control.

Someone suggested Astaxanthin which inhibits 5a-reductase. I understand this would lower both estrogen and DHT, but I also read that Astaxanthin has a a greater affinity toward lowering estrogen than DHT. Is this correct?

If a few supplements/ingredients can be suggested it would be very helpful.

I haven't used it yet , but 500-1000 g is recommended

For dht? I've looked into this myself and the only thing I have found is on sorghum and creatine monohydrate. That is for purely with the natural stuff

If you want to lower estrogen and increase DHT an aromatase inhibitor would be the way to go.

I was surprised by this effect, when I was testing a Beta version of Helios, from Apex-Alchemy .... of course.

I waited a while to report it, because I wanted to be sure it was a legitimate effect of the product.
... And it certainly was.

Lots of studies and info in there if wanted on tadalafil and bph... the 2.5 vs 5 mg is seen to improve scores much more than the lower dose so I wouldn't go lower to avoid sides. I know some get the sides, I do too (back pain and a short lived headache) but mine seemed to have mostly gone away with time, so hopefully you may be the same. I can't give an exact amount of time but I do not have to get up at much and would probably say I noticed it within the first month? I'd guess

All around I like tada. Sides have been very minimal and it's seen as pretty safe, good when libido is hurting and gives a nice pump on top of bph

The headache for me went away after a wee or two and I never noticed dry mouth, I take it first thing in the AM. Less getting up to pee and stronger stream at 5mg a day.

The 5a reduced analog is on the CSA and people thought that it was the same thing.

i run a lot of andro's that convert to dht, it is common for me to feel like i need to pee only to stand there and only a weak stream comes out, since starting helios stream is more normal and the urge to pee is much less frequent...also it is aiding somewhat the aches and pains of arthritis and sciatica, but for just .5ml applied to stomach i am very satisfied with the product.

I started out at 2ml because I was Beta Testing a version of the product, and I wanted to see results quickly.

2 or 3 weeks after I started seeing a LOT of different positive results (including BPH alleviation), I dropped down to 1ml.
After a few weeks, some slight BPH symptoms returned. But even at that, it was the greatest change I've ever seen from Any type of product.

A couple of things:

1). I'm assuming that (for me, people are different) I might have still kept full results at 1.5ml. But I don't know for sure, because I haven't tried that dosage yet.

2). @thebigt said that he gets amazing results at .5ml per day. He also applies it to his stomach. Based upon his results, I'm going to try that soon myself.

i found several articles citing application to stomach and bph. had i not seen results at .5ml i would have increased dose but found no need to go higher.

Yeah, I discontinued anything else I was taking that was BPH related, because I wanted to see only results from Helios.

It is a Strong anti-inflammatory, among other things.

I am already on Super Beta Prostate for prostate support, 3 pills curcumin per day for joints anD also have to take black pepper extract with the curcumin due to its poor absorption. If I could eliminate all three of these depending on the dose of the transdermal I could save money and not have to dose curcumin 3 times a day.

Just my random 2c, I take dht blockers for hair loss prevention and have zero side effects. My sex life is the same so I would not worry about lowering dht levels. Some people get side effects, but most don't. I just felt cloudy for 2 weeks when I started after that, I felt no different. Been on it for over 2 years.
