Weird thing happen to me. Been focusing on back a lot the past few weeks. As I was doing banded assisted pull-ups, I leaned back just a little and pulled up. Both my upper chest got strained it felt like. I instantly let go. They were sore from my workout on Wednesday still but didn’t think anything of it. I can flex my chest without pain, bench, do pushups with minimal.
Today as I was doing arms, I couldn’t finish the workout because just curling up heavier weight strained them.
Anything like this happen to anyone else? I am hoping once the soreness go away I will be good to go.

I’ve had this on deadlifts and rack pulls…it sucks.
I have also had it on heavy deadlifts. But only my left side and lower pec region. Never had my upper pec. Hopefully it’s like unlocking super saiyan powers and my upper chest will grow so it doesn’t look like I have man boobs ha

voltaren is awesome for my foot/heel. That’s the only place I have ever used it. And I only use it on days where I will be running around like coaching FB or hiking.

As long as you didn’t hear an audible sound come from your chest you prob just pissed it off. Last summer when I tore my tri I heard all 3 of the Rice Krispies characters by name… Snap, crackle, and Pop. Knew I was fukked when it happened.
I will give you the same advice from my orthopedic
If it hurts, don’t do it. Ice and voltaren also.
SNS Pepti-Plex and Pea Relief wouldn’t hurt either

same, pulled a pec deadlifting last spring, was sore for a couple weeks but nothing serious. hasn't been a problem since. I'm always more paranoid about the bicep than anything else when pulling heavy tbh
