Started taking All Out Sweat yesterday stacked with ThermoAmp. The Blue Hawaiian flavor is great, and clean energy and heat!!

One issue, both days I have broken out into hives and had to take Benedryl. I have used ThermoAmp in the past with no issue. I looked over the All Out Sweat label a few times and nothing stands out.. any thoughts?

Are they hives in the sense of raised up from the skin or in the sense that the skin is red and splotchy?

Now, for my reply here, I'm not just directing it at you, but going into a lot of detail for anyone that may read this now or in the future in an effort to help them understand if they experience this with these or any other products.

The reason that I'm asking is there are a couple of different things that it could be.

Possibility 1: There may be something in there that you had an allergic type reaction/histamine response to.

Possibility 2: There may be one or more ingredients that you had a flushing type response to that mimicked a histamine response or may have even triggered a histamine response.

Allergies and allergic reactions are a lot more complex than people realize; and sometimes people can have a histamine response to something that they may not have at other times depending on a variety of factors. Example - maybe you're allergic to ragweed and you were outside more the past weekend and it gets your body's histamine response revved up and then you take an ingredient that you may would not have a reaction to or only a minimal one - the combination of the factors could cause you to think you're allergic or more allergic to something than you are.

Also though, let's say that in the same scenario, you do something or are exposed to something that gets your histamine receptors revved up and then you take Beta Alanine and maybe you only normally get tolerable tingles from it but that time it gives you really bad tingles. It's not so much of an allergic response to it as it would be your body just already being all worked up and responding in a way that is is aggravated by multiple factors.

From an ingredient standpoint, here are some of the likely culprits if it were to be those:
- Beta Alanine - in All Out Sweat - known for tingles and sometimes itching. (Remember that outside factors could make a response to it worse than normal sometimes).

- GBB - in All Out Sweat - this ingredient causes some people to really heat up and some people get splotchy when that happens. And if something else were already going on, I could see how this would exacerbate it.

Going back to the allergy/sensitivity part at the top, I'll use me as an example. There are times where I can drink a case of Truly's and not turn red at all but then there are times of the year depending on the airborne allergens that I turn so bright red from just one you'd think I would glow in the dark. This is just one of many examples of things like this happening to me.

I have a lot of allergies and sensitivities to different things and there are some things that bother me sometimes and sometimes they don't, and this is likely because of other things I've been exposed to that bother me around the same time period. Plus, I have a super sensitive histamine response so that just compounds the issue for me.

I hope that all of this helps and makes sense.

Wow, thank you for the detailed response. I would call them blotches more than hives. I used to get them a lot with Sunscreen, until I switched to a non nano zinc Sunscreen. It makes sense that maybe something was already in my system and this accelerates it. I'll experiment a little to see if anything gets better.

You're welcome. No problem at all, I'm glad to help in any way that I can.

I always like to help people in general anyway, but sometimes I can offer some extra insight on allergies and histamine response because I have a lot of allergies and sensitivities, so badly so that I've been used in 2 research studies for allergies and histamine response. So its something I've learned a lot about from specialists and also just from research to try to help with my own condition.

Being that they are more blotches than hives, I think and hope that most likely whatever you're experiencing with All Out Sweat is like me and you both seem to be thinking and just a combined response type thing and if so, hopefully you won't keep experiencing it.

If they do progress to hives though, I would take a break from taking it for at least a week or so to let things level out in your system because hives can signal a more serious issue.

Also, my all the time disclaimer when discussing allergies and sensitivities - anytime anyone ever experiences swelling in the throat, mouth, or lips - stop taking whatever causes it because that can be a signal of a severe allergic reaction. I've never heard of that with any ingredients in this product though.

I generally don't post in other companies sub-forums but I know a lot about the subject and wanted to help out.

I asked Rob first before posting to make sure it was okay with him if I replied to the thread since it was in his sub-forum and he told me yes, to reply to it.

Just wanted to explain so you didn't think I was just jumping in threads in the Iconic sub-forum at random haha.

No problem at all. I'm glad to help in any way that I can.

And that's awesome to not be allergic to anything. I'm allergic to so many different things - it sucks for me, but then I also feel like an inconvenience on other people I'm around if they have to change things up because of it.

You should never feel like an inconvenience because of allergies. I have an autoimmune thing and people around me usually get it. My son has a milk allergy and no one ever makes a big deal. I think in this day an age it’s more common then not.

Thank you. I appreciate it. I have a lot of allergies and also have an autoimmune condition; it makes like challenging for me big time but the part that does bother me the most is the effect on others. Like for example, its hard for me to eat out at normal restaurants bc of cross contamination worries - I have the non-celiac autoimmune allergy to gluten and its pretty severe and then I'm anaphylactically allergic to soy protein. And I'm super sensitive to hair sprays and a lot of perfumes and a bunch of other stuff. It's so bad to hair spray that my barber comes outside and cuts my hair on the deck at his shop bc I can't even walk in the door haha.

Damn. That is a lot. In this day and age it’s not that surprising.

just started a new tub of all out sweat yesterday...along with alpha seven and ultra epi---trying to keep winter time fat to a minimum without cutting cals too much...time running on treadmill just isn't same as time running outdoors--even though watching porn while on treadmill does pass the time quickly :p

i guess it is our turn in southern indiana to get hit by this winter storm...been raining most of the day till about 2 hours ago when temp dropped and it turned to sleet/freezing rain...fortunately i had put salt in my 3 gall bucket and spread it on steps and walk out to driveway...not that we will be going anywhere-it has now turned to snow, lol...we live in the country so unless a neighbor hooks up a plow to his tractor our roads are going to be undrivable for couple of days.

going to be getting in plenty of outdoor cardio exercise :p

it's back-been raining most of the day, now temp has dropped and turned to freezing rain---i would rather have a foot of snow than 1/4 inch of freezing rain..it's supposed to start snowing soon and this should give roads a little more traction than just a layer of ice...hopefully those who can stay inside and don't try to drive on this stuff!!!

I'm excited about All Out Ultra Edition, but I'm EXCITED about the sweat edition

hopefully we can avoid any manufacturing delays - I just got a quote for a refill order of the ultra edition, as they're planning to wrap up production on Monday - they quoted me 18 weeks..it's just insane how backed up manufacturers and suppliers are! I believe we're still on track to get the sweat edition in time for Memorial Day.
