I believe ArA is good if you have plateaued and not getting sore anymore after workouts. which is usually the case for people who have been working out for Years. If you have been training for a yr or 2, you can still get sore from a good workout. Don't need ArA.

I didn't even get additional soreness from it the few times I've taken it. I'm worried about running it now after shoulder surgery, but it's about the only natural product worthwhile in my experience.

Agree. but my point was, it's not really necessary. I see people with 1 to 2yrs exp lifting taking ArA. I have been lifting for a couple yrs now and I still get sore after every workout. I know, I am getting sore because my muscles are not fully developed or matured. ArA is to basically induce soreness and signal our body that the affected muscle needs more repair (in laymen's term). Correct?

No, soreness doesn't really have anything to do with putting on muscle. I don't get sore from ArA but I put on muscle.

What's the recommend dosing routine for 6 gels / day? Would post workout be a good time to dose gel no.5?

I would take all 6 at once, pre-workout

Would only ever split the dose if it caused GI distress

So I have been taking x-gels for a month, i get a lil pump from it; nothing too crazy. I just started cutting almost 2 weeks ago, but barely dropped any weight; is their anything in ara or even this supplement that causes water retention or weight gain, I remember while I was bulking on x-gels my weight just drastically went up without really even upping my calories that much. I am currently eating at a 500-600 caloric deficit, everytime I do this the first week dieting I drop almost 5-6lbs instantly mainly water weight. Since my cut and being on x-gels I've only seen really a 1-1.5 pound drop. Can someone explain why this is happening? I remember taking x-factor back in the day and cutting and I was dropping weight like crazy, x-gels seems to be the opposite.

You are a lot older and your metabolism has slowed down? Just guessing.

I have been taking X-Gels the past few weeks and has been wrecking my joints. Especially my elbows.

Anyone have any tips for lowering/stopping the joint pain?

Cheers

I have not seen any difference in weight gain or loss with ArA. But I agree, just a little pump and strength increases, nothing too crazy either. If this is the best natty anabolic, we are doomed (just kidding)

I am not really complaining, Ive actually been maintaining strength on a big deficit, just wondering why Im not really dropping weight like im supposed too. My appetite has also went down, creatine does this to me when Im cutting, I don't really lose weight get bloated and have no appetite, but once I come off it I get really hungry; I feel like if I come off the ara I'll be really hungry again and my weight will drop like crazy, one thing with x-gels is I don't get a bloat like I would with creatine.

No, it shouldn't be the x gels. Also x gels and the original x factor are exactly the same. That is strange though. May be your metabolism? When you get into your mid 20s it usually starts to go downhill (did for me at least).

I've been told to take the caps whilst warming up preworkout if I have a preworkout meal.
But if I have some coconut oil (or avocado oil) (<10g) and peanut butter (<15g) whilst fasted preworkout, then when should I take the caps?

Hehe you won't be fasted after that ;)

But take them closer to the onset of your workout

ah no, my metabolism is alot faster because of my workload and activity level compared to my teenage years, i use to bulk on 2600 calories when i was younger, nowadays if i eat 2600 calories a start to drop weight. ive been eating around 2000-2100 calories since taking x-gels and i usually drop a ****load of weight with this little calories, but literally i havent lost much weight and dont even really look leaner. i think ara causes water retention for me, i take 1.5-1.75 pre workout, when i was on x factor i never even took that amount so thats why i couldnt really see the changes, i guarantee that once im come off ara, my weight will prolly drop an extra 6-7 lb of water.

4-6 xgels preworkout on an empty stomach gives me a great pump. 8-10 makes my muscles so full that my arms go numb sometimes and interferes with the workout. Try it and see if dosing that high has any positive effect for u I guess.

more muscle fullness leading to higher water retention like creatine. l-arginine, peak02, creatine all do this for me. im gonna see the difference coming off ara for a week without changing diet nor activity level to see how my body responds.

That is really strange. Never heard of ArA causing water retention. And like I said earlier, the original x factor and x gels are exactly the same thing so it's probably not the x gels.

I notice the pumps pretty quickly. I'm getting anxious to try it again soon, I used it on a cut last time and it was good, but bulking is better. If I can get a good deal I'd like to try it at 2g or more to experiment lol

Was just searching around online and I'm not finding any real deals on xgels right now. Honestly it's kind of weird I'm seeing hardly anybody with them in stock at the moment. Best deal I can find is for like $37/bottle from a supp website I've never heard of or used before. If anybody finds something a pm would be greatly appreciated

Yeah I've never really seen it for anything cheaper than that. I haven't looked into whether anyone's tried or had success with a higher dose than normal. Otherwise 3 bottles comes out to a decent price for what it does.

Sometimes you see it for $31-32.

I can usually find them for $33-35/ bottle but at stores I've heard of/board sponsors or a few of the other popular websites that have other things I want to order with them. Upon a second look I found them at nutriverse, nutraplanet is sold out, a few other of my favorite sites are sold out or maybe not carry them. The priceplow search is the first thing I used and the results aren't very impressive which is what raised my initial concern.

Bought X factor og formula 200 capsules a couple of months ago. Was taking 4-6 capsules on training days. DOMS pain and joint pain was unbearable - had to stop doing skull crusher's as i do them heavy (80kg) and elbows were getting @&#&#. Shoulder joints were also regularly in extreme pain after doing heavy military presses. Was not functional at all. Soldiered through to 158 capsules. Throwing the rest away now as the pain from the inflammation is getting more and more horrible. On the plus side pumps were wicked and looked more muscular/vascular in general though nothing mind blowing as no size increase or substantial strength gains. Just good body recomp. As I'm on a bulk and looking to add size, am taking magnitropin instead now which I'm absolutely loving.

I've been on SNS Xgels for 20 training sessions now and without a doubt I've gotten stronger but the pumps are incredible as well lol

Literally, hands down the best non hormonal product on the market. I prefer this to all the 5a lax and -(-)epi supplements.

Was mostly curious to see if you were going with 1g as it seems a lot of people have "recently" determined that they prefer 1.5g. I've only tried 1g with good results but have been considering 1.5 on my upcoming run

Ok so I tried reading through the entire thread and got about halfway through before say f it and taking the lazy route.. about to start my bulk and plan on adding in CEL M-test, ABE, and X-Gels into my stack. my peri workout nutrition looks like this:
2:00- 30g whey, 80g oats
2:45- follidrone 2.0, 500mg agmatine
3:15- pre workout (Tr1umph+ Re1gn or Rupture, extend GO, HMB)
4:00- workout
6:00- 50g whey, 75g carbs, HMB, creatine, and l-carnitine.

How should I dose the X-Gels and ABE to maximize effectiveness? Forgive my laziness as this is a very long thread and I have bad ADD lol

Np, we appreciate that you read as far as you did sir

ABE is best used 2 caps per dose with your 2 largest meals, proximity to your lift is not necessary.

X-gels should be taken either 4 or 6 caps at a time for 1-1.5g ARA,
It should be taken with your pre

Looks like your pre varies, if it has a carnitine salt in it that is a bonus alongside ARA.
If not consider adding a cheap bulk LCLT or ALCAR
